A1- Lead Audio Engineer
On days scheduled as show or show prep, the engineering staff will report directly to the appropriate account manager and receive their assignments. The show A1 is responsible for generating the final equipment pull list, including the inventory control system pull list and any miscellaneous non inventory equipment lists, such as input, output, feeder, rigging, and flymult cable lists. The A1 will provide direction for the entire show staff, including crew and subcontract labor, and is ultimately responsible for company performance on jobsites.
• Review and augment the system design and scheduled inventory list according to established protocol, in conjunction with account manager.
• Contact client technical or managerial counterparts to confirm show requirements.
• Review and augment as required scheduled labor in conjunction with account manager.
• Create, review, and post miscellaneous inventory lists.
• Provide information, oversight, and direction to assigned show crew.
• Confirm transportation, cartage, housing, and other housekeeping details. Distribute information to show staff.
• Test, confirm, and program required equipment as necessary.
• Check and evaluate all equipment as packed and loaded for completion and accuracy.
• Confirm crew arrival and quantity on site.
• Seek out and report to client contact and any subcontractors on site.
• Confirm, modify if required, and implement system on site.
• Direct and oversee show staff and crew throughout event
• Direct and oversee show staff and crew throughout strike, with an emphasis on retrieving all equipment items.
• Present invoice and receive payment from client on site as proper.
All show personnel report directly to the warehouse manager. Show crews are required to de-prep all show equipment
• Check, repack and label all standard packages as show ready.
• Return all warehouse inventory to assigned areas.
• Remove ALL show specific cable labels as you restock the cable rack.
• Clean off ALL show specific case labeling.
• Un-rack all rack units. Return to mic room in working order, with system packages checked and complete. Return empty racks to proper warehouse area.
• Return all mic room items to mic room. Check
• Make note of any missing items in system packages.
• Clearly note any service problems for any equipment and inform sweep, mic room, or warehouse personnel as appropriate.
